Why does it seem like my roll of film goes on forever?
I have a 1967 Minolta srT-101 and i use the film kodak 400. I'm not sure how many pictures you can take with that, i heard around 24-36, but it seems like i'm taking more than that.?? do i just take out the film after i take 36 pictures or how do you tell when you're out of film. Also how can you tell how many pictures you've taken so far?
The Best Answer:
If you are using 135-24 film, then 24 to 25 exposures are common
If you are using 135-36, then 36 to 37.
If you seem to be able to take more than there are on the roll of film, then it did not load properly.
Does the rewind knob rotate when you advance the film?
Here is a link to the user manual for your camera. It will solve a lot of possible frustrations trying to use it using the "try and fail" mode

You will need to find a new battery for the light meter in the camera. Take it into a proper camera shop and have them sell you one
